Nucking Iran: All options on the table

When in 2008 Republican Presidential hopefuls in reference to Iran said “all options are on the table” they were talking of nuclear weapons.  Tactical nuclear weapons.  Ron Paul was the only one to stand against this.  People who say nuking Iran would be a good thing and would put Iran in their place and Israel would be that much safer really haven’t thought it through.

There would be the cost and how many nuclear weapons we should use, loss of life and the aftermath as we watch innocent people live in horror.  Days, months, weeks, even years from the point of fact, people will come down with strange tumors and cancers.  They will live out the rest of their lives in anguish.

The inevitable blowback directed towards the United States and Israel would be far worse than anything we have ever seen.  Global structures would collapse and would pave the road for a new world order where something such as this could never happen again.  To have the urge or the thought in anyone’s head of dropping nukes goes against everything human and decent.

I call upon the scientific community in our country, those who gave us nuclear weapons, to turn their great talents now to the cause of mankind and world peace: to give us the means of rendering these nuclear weapons impotent and obsolete.
Ronald Reagan

Despite the fact of Ronald Reagan’s above quote and the fact that – if you watched the video link – we should not be a nation of aggressors, moonbat crazy people like Ann Coulter says that nuking Iran “warms our hearts.”  Not mine.  What causes someone to want to see such carnage and loss of life?  But of course she can say this, she’s a couch warrior.

As if the government has nothing better to do…

Afghanistan costs the American taxpayer $57,000 a minute.  The national debt is at $13 trillion and shows no signs of slowing down.  Our foreign obligations cost the American taxpayer over $1 trillion dollars a year and the deficit is at $2 trillion dollars and climbing.

Now with that said, Armando Galarraga was on his way to pitching a perfect game…that was until umpire Jim Joyce botched a call and called Cleveland Indians Jason Donald safe at first.  Galarraga accepted Joyce’s apology and now there is talk of Major League Baseball instituting a replay examination system like that of the NFL.  You would think that would be the end of it.  A one-hitter game, human error, no feelings hurt, and baseball will take care of it.  The world keeps spinning.

Not on the guv’ments watch.

Rep. John D. Dingell, Democrat of Michigan, today announced that he plans to introduce a resolution calling on Major League Baseball to reverse its decision not to award Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga a perfect game.

Galarraga was robbed of a perfect game by a blown call by umpire Jim Joyce with two outs in the ninth inning….

Now I like baseball, in fact, I like to catch a professional game as often as I can, but this goes beyond ridiculous.  I’m a Cincinnati Reds fan and even if this happened to them I would say, “stay out of America’s past time, Big Brother!”

Fidel Castro: Obama to attack Iran and North Korea to win second term…

In a publication titled “The Empire and War”, former President Fidel Castro claims that President Obama will order attacks on Iran and North Korea to win a second term.  Certianly Obama’s chances of getting reelected are becoming less certian, but don’t count him out.  Castro asks:

“Could Obama enjoy the emotions of a second presidential election without having the Pentagon or the State of Israel, whose conduct does not in the least obey the decisions of the United States, use nuclear weapons against Iran?” Castro asked. “How would life on our planet be after that?”

This is kind of a redundant question coming from a man who helped push the world to the brink of nuclear war in 1962, and possibly a new world order.  But, nevertheless, it is a good question.  If the United States would go nuclear on Iran chaos would follow coupled with the worst kind of blowback that the United States and Israel has ever faced.  Let us not forget that it was the cool head of President Kennedy prevailing that kept the world’s two major powers from going nuclear.
