Nothing annoys me more than a chicken-hawk war fighter. You know, the people that have never served a day of their lives in the military, and yet, they believe that they have the clout to say which country we should invade.

What was it? Last week the Obama administration hammered home a deal with Iran to ensure that Iran would never seek nuclear weapons, and Republicans decried it as Israel’s doom? Or, at the very least, anti-Israel. Our entire foreign policy in the Middle East is anti-Israel.

But then you have the idiot Donald Trump. After questioning whether or not John McCain was a war hero, he had this to say to ABC News:

People that fought hard and weren’t captured and went through a lot, they get no credit. Nobody even talks about them. They’re like forgotten. And I think that’s a shame, if you want to know the truth.

He went on to say:

People that were not captured that went in and fought, nobody talks about them. Those are heroes also.

Nobody says anything about them? What was the Vietnam wall built for? Or the Wounded Warriors Project? Granted, I think a lot of veterans have succumbed to the belief that they can’t rely on the government to aid them properly and in a timely manner, but have you seen Congress in the last eight years? Its a do-nothing government.

President Obama can’t even sneeze without generating a scathing remark from the opposite side.

But if we want to be honest about something, Bill Clinton didn’t help veterans affairs. George W. Bush didn’t. And neither has Barack Obama. And at any rate, is John McCain even running for President? And if he isn’t, why in the hell is Trump picking on him? Oh, that’s right. Bad publicity is better than none.

I liken Donald Trump to Sean Hannity. Poured from the same mold, these men sit back snipe of issues they know nothing about. Like Hannity, Trump has never served a single day in the service of his country. He’s never dodged a bullet or worried about whether or not he’s gonna make it home. He’s never seen his home life erode underneath his feet. He’s never been served divorce papers when he’s on the other side of the planet because his wife can’t take the strain. Neither one has felt the clutches of PTSD.

Back in March of 2010, Sean Hannity said that if we catch an enemy combatant in the field, he had no problem with taking their heads, sticking them underwater and scaring the living daylights out of them. He punctuated this with: “and I’m a Christian!”

Meghan McCain was on his show when he said this. This was her response:

I think it’s what separates us from the terrorists. My father could never left me up as a child because he can’t move his arm. He can’t ride a bike because he can’t bend his knee because he was tortured. I think he knows better.

In a segment with Charles Grodin, Hannity was asked whether or not he’d ever been water boarded (because, you know, Hannity had no problem with it), and he said he hadn’t. “But Oli North has and I’ve talked to him about it,” he commented rather weakly. Grodin offered to water board him, which Keith Olbermann seized upon, putting up a thousand dollars to charity for every second Hannity lasted. To my knowledge, Hannity has never put his money where his mouth is.

But that’s the major crux of the matter, isn’t it? For Hannity-a man who has never served in the military-and Trump-who received four deferments between 1964 and 1968, have no bragging rights. When it comes to military service, there are no second-hand experiences.

If Donald Trump wanted to bring the issue of veterans affairs to the forefront of the political spectrum, by all means. But outline a plan instead of sniping at man who spent five years in a POW camp, while Trump, himself, was safe and secure in a freedom service men have died for.

But hopefully, Trump is a fading star, headed for oblivion.

Now that the fire is over, and Donald Trump has whipped up a storm, it should come as no surprise that he would drop out from seeking to hold the Highest Office in the Land.  First, he told us that he believed that the country was going in the wrong direction.  Next, it was Barack Obama’s birth certificate was fake (which when Obama released it, Trump took all the credit).

This should come as no surprise.  Now we know why he ran a short-lived campaign all for naught.

As he prepares to release shocking new evidence and name the people who he claims were behind the forgery of Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate, author Jerome Corsi sensationally accused short-lived Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump of “working with Obama” to neutralize the birther controversy.

Appearing on the Alex Jones Show, Corsi said that he now completely discounted the apparent efforts of Donald Trump to force the release of Obama’s birth certificate, stating, “I’m completely convinced at this point Donald Trump was subterfuge, that he…. was working with Obama.”

Corsi explained how he was in contact with Trump and that Trump requested several copies of his book before it was released.

Trump’s role according to Corsi was to “beat the drums big” and craft a false resolution to the controversy in order to make the press “go to sleep” and get his $60 million dollar television contract with NBC, owned by General Electric, which is closely allied with the Obama administration.

Regarding who actually helped the administration create the forgery, Corsi pointed out that “they were stuck with the guys who were close to them,” because putting out a proposal for outside experts to forge the document would have been far too risky.

“I’m pretty well on the trail of linking the characteristics of this document to someone who’s going to have a lot of explaining to do,” said Corsi, adding that he was “hot on the trail” of one individual who “may have had a hand in this,” and that his identity would be released this week.

“The forger is someone who does not work in government, he works in the media and is close to the administration and would have been within the circle of friends that may have been called on to do the forgery or participate in the forgery,” said Corsi.

Corsi said that the information contained in his book, Where’s the Birth Certificate?, and the new revelations he was about to unleash would mean the Obama administration “would not survive,” because the evidence proves the administration has tried to preserve itself using “criminal fraud”.

“I got a call about three weeks before it was released from one of my sources in Hawaii and I was told that the new long form birth certificate had been forged, had been slipped into the log book,” said Corsi, noting that efforts to create the fake began shortly after reporter Mike Evans let slip that Hawaii Governor and close friend Neil Abercrombie had been shocked at his failure to find Obama’s long form birth certificate, and were timed to pre-empt the release of Corsi’s book.

During the interview, Corsi listed numerous examples of where the new birth certificate was clearly forged, including an obvious misspelling on the stamp and a “smiley face” that appears in the signature of the doctor once the document is blown up to 800 per cent, both of which don’t occur in the hundreds of other examples of the signature that Corsi has studied.

The letters in the document also share identical pixelations despite the fact that they are purportedly from a typewriter, which would produce different pixelations if transferred to an electronic document every time. The identical pixelations prove that the document was created on a modern computer.

Another aspect of the birth certificate pointing to forgery is the fact that the electronic PDF document released by the White House clearly shows evidence of ‘kerning’ – where parts of letters overlap each other for a pleasing visual effect – this is produced by modern computers and was not possible on 1960′s typewriters.

“The administration will not show the original, in 1961 there were no computers, where’s the original paper birth certificate if it exists?” asked Corsi, adding that the original document needs to undergo forensic analysis. Corsi visited the Hawaii Department of Health as well as the Kapi’olani Medical Center in an attempt to see the original certificate or patient records for Obama’s mother Ann Dunham, but was told that police would be called if he didn’t vacate the premises.

During an interview with a Denver radio station last week, Corsi said he was about to release bombshell evidence that proved the alleged Obama birth certificate released last month was a composite of three different birth certificates from other individuals born at the same hospital.

“I’m going to be telling the entire world about this scandal over the next few weeks,” Corsi said in a separate interview. “This is going to make Watergate look like a political sideshow by comparison.”

In an effort to derail the success of Corsi’s book, Esquire Magazine then put out a hoax article claiming that publisher Joseph Farah had ordered the book to be pulled from store shelves. Farah is considering whether to launch a lawsuit in response.

If Ron Paul has “zero chance of beating Obama in 2012”, then Donald Trump has even less.  No one wants a ‘Comb-Over in Chief’ to lead their nation.  In 2008 Ron Paul brought real debate to the real issues, and while the other candidates were busy slinging mud, and debating on the technicalities of their foreign policy ideals, Ron Paul wanted to debate the ideas of interventionism vs. noninterventionism.

It comes as no surprise to me that the billionaires and the politicians and pundits tucked deep in the hip pockets of Fox News take as many jabs at Ron Paul as possible – they’re afraid of him.

In reality, the Texas Congressman has a better chance than Republican darling Sarah Palin

Prospective presidential candidate Donald Trump caused a sensation at the start of yesterday’s CPAC event when he dismissed Ron Paul’s chances of beating Obama in 2012, saying the Texas Congressman had “zero chance” of winning the election.

“By the way, Ron Paul cannot get elected, I’m sorry to tell you,” Trump told the CPAC crowd, to a chorus of both boos and applause.

“I like Ron Paul, I think he’s a good guy, but honestly I think he has zero chance of getting elected, you have to win an election,” the billionaire socialite added.

In actual fact, the Texas Congressman has a greater chance of beating Obama in 2012 than someone who the Republican establishment is likely to throw their weight behind next year – Sarah Palin.

A Rasmussen poll released Monday showed that Paul leads Palin in being able to build a campaign that would prevent Obama from securing a second term. The poll shows that in these early stages, Ron Paul would poll 35% of votes to Obama’s 44%, where as Sarah Palin would attract 38% to an Obama count of 49%.

The figures mean that at this time the Texas Congressman would score 2% more of the overall vote than the former governor of Alaska.

Those numbers are also based on the fact that Obama is still riding high on a recent 15 point bounce in the aftermath of the Tucson shootings, a lead that is sure to subside as the election nears. Once Paul is able to mobilize his hugely effective grass roots base, which outstrips anything the likes of Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich or Mike Huckabee can call upon, a 9 point deficit is far from insurmountable.

Indeed, before the Tucson shootings when Obama was at one of the lowest ebbs of his popular approval, a YouGov/Polimetrix study found that establishment Republican candidates like Palin, Gingrich and Romney were all losing popularity at a similar pace to the president. Only Ron Paul has bucked this trend.

In addition, an April 2010 Rasmussen survey found that a hypothetical 2012 election race between president Obama and Texas Congressman Ron Paul would result in an almost dead heat, with Obama just one per cent ahead.

Democrats who voted for Obama in 2008 will only be motivated to do so again if Republicans put forward a compromised candidate who can easily be characterized as George W. Bush 2.0. If Ron Paul runs against Obama, huge numbers of Democrats will take a back seat, and some may even switch allegiances, such is the profound sense of betrayal many liberals now feel towards Obama’s completely unfulfilled promises of hope and change.

Donald Trump is completely wrong in his assertion that Paul has “zero chance” of beating Obama. Indeed, once the establishment media gets its teeth into the likes of Palin, Romney, Gingrich and indeed Trump himself, their compromised backgrounds will almost guarantee Obama the victory, whereas Paul’s squeaky clean track record cannot be as easily distorted.

By the time the campaign season is in full swing, and the mud begins to stick to the names of establishment Republican candidates, Ron Paul may be the only contender who can beat Obama in 2012.
