Prior to September 11, 2001, SecDef Rumsfeld held a press conference to tell the American people and the world that the Pentagon could not account for $2.3 trillion. However, in the aftermath of September 11, this was all forgotten. It’s a little out of the way to believe that the government planned and orchestrated one of our nation’s darkest moments to conceal a mishandling of funds.
Although, it does raise serious questions as to who and where that money went to.
